Getting started
- How ARC OS gets onto the shop computerWe install ARC OS for you, in person. There is nothing to download. Book a call, and we plan the visit with you.
- Working without the internetWhen the internet drops, keep selling: sales are saved on this computer and sent when it is back (the chip at the top shows how many wait).
- Sinhala, Tamil or EnglishSettings, Language: your own language, this computer's, and the receipts'. The account menu at the top right changes yours too.
Printers, scanners and screens
- Set up a network receipt printerA receipt printer on the shop network (a cable to the router) is the most reliable: every till can use it and it never needs a driver.
- USB receipt printer and cash drawerInstall the printer's Windows driver from its maker, then plug it in.
- Barcode scannersAny USB barcode scanner that types like a keyboard works: plug it in and scan on the Sell screen.
- The customer displayPlug a second monitor in and set Windows to Extend these displays (Windows key + P, Extend).

- Opening and closing the tillShifts & cash, Open: count the float in the drawer.
- VAT, SSCL and the compliance calendarReports, Compliance calendar shows EPF, ETF, VAT and SSCL due dates and your licence renewals.
- Credits for AI and messagesOne credit wallet pays for the AI assistant, photo-to-product, Write it for me, and WhatsApp, SMS and email messages.
